130,000 children will wake up homeless this Christmas and 1,000,000 older people will feel lonelier. It can be hard enough to find help and even tougher during the Christmas period. Whether it’s support with being a lone parent, homeless or just not wanting to spend Christmas alone this year we hope you can take something from this blog.

This year New Hope are providing a warm place to stay, a cuppa and breakfast, for anyone who finds themselves homeless this Christmas.

Community Christmas "no-one should be alone at Christmas, unless they want to be" CC run a community lunch on Christmas day, joining up with local pubs and restaurants, or organising a film viewing.

The events are part of Norfolk County Council's In Good Company Campaign, making sure no one has a lonely day in Norfolk (if they don't want to)
