Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2)

Get a solid foundation in finance administration. The course includes, using accountancy software, basic costing and double entry bookkeeping. It is ideal for junior or entry level roles.
Course length: 6-12 months

Foundation Diploma in Accounting and Business (Level 2) (16–19-year-olds only)

Offers a foundation in finance administration such as double entry bookkeeping, costing principles, business communications and personal skills. This is perfect for junior and entry-level roles.
Course length: 6-12 months.

Advanced Diploma in Accounting (Level 3)

This qualification covers additional accounting disciplines such as advanced bookkeeping, processes, final accounts and accounting ethics. Successful completers can apply for AAT Associate Bookkeeping Membership and achieve professional AATQB status.
Course length: 6-12 months

Professional Diploma in Accounting (Level 4)

This is qualifications covers higher level accountancy tasks including, budget management, financial performance evaluation, drafting financial statements. Plus specialist units including business tax, personal tax, external auditing, cash and treasury management, credit management. credit management.
Course length: 9-18 months

Access Award in Bookkeeping (Level 1)

A basic entry qualification which will give you knowledge in single entry bookkeeping and is ideal for those with no or little previous experience.
Course length: 6-12 weeks

Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping (Level 2)

This qualification delivers the skills and essential knowledge to manage books effectively. It includes manual double entry bookkeeping, and associated documents and processes, up to Trial Balance standard. The qualification can be used to fast track” to the AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
Course length - 12 weeks

Advanced Certificate in Bookkeeping (Level 3)

Aimed at experienced bookkeepers, this qualification covers areas such as double entry bookkeeping, financial statements, intermediate spreadsheets and software use. Successful completers can apply for AAT Associate Bookkeeping Membership and achieve professional AAT Bookkeeper status (AATQB).
Course length: 12 months

Access Award in Accounting Software (Level 1)

This is the perfect starting point if you want to carry out basic finance and administrative duties using accounting software packages.
This is a basic entry-level qualification and can provide a solid grounding for students with no previous bookkeeping knowledge or experience, before moving on to the foundation-level qualifications.

Course length – 6 weeks

Foundation Award in Accounting Software (Level 2)

This qualification delivers the skills and essential knowledge to manage books effectively. It includes manual double entry bookkeeping, and associated documents and processes, up to Trial Balance standard.
Most students will start at Foundation level. This qualification can be used as a fast track route to the AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting.
