Probably, but what about using social media as a practical tool in work or when running your own business?  This course will help you do that.  You will learn how to use social media to search for jobs, do market research, to network and promote products and services.  These are sought after skills for potential employers or running your own business.

Who is this Social Media course for?

This course will benefit Bedfordshire residents, particularly anyone that is unemployed, claiming Jobseekers Allowance or Employment Support Allowance.

What does our Social Media course consist of?

During four engaging days, you will learn how to use social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook to promote yourself and for business use. You will get involved in a number of activities and practical exercises in order to achieve the Level 2 Award in the Promotion of Products and Services Through Social Media. By the end of the course you will have created an interesting and informative on-line profile.

The course will help you to develop your skills in using social media as well as your general IT skills. These skills are as attractive to employers as they will be if you start your own business.
