Dale Morgan – Chairman
Dale is an entrepreneur with vision and the commitment, drive and determination to excel in demanding roles.
He has a history of successful sales, marketing and financial management, coupled with excellent business acumen and commercial awareness. Dale ran his own businesses for 27 years before joining the London East Training and Enterprise Council in 1997 as a Business Adviser.
As a result of his strong networking abilities, experience and wealth of business contacts Dale was promoted to Head of the Small Business Service before leaving in 2001 and moving on to create a similar team for Reed in Partnership PLC.
Dale set up The Consultancy Home Counties Ltd (TCHC) after he won a contract to deliver the Employer Training Pilot in 2003 as an Embedded Broker. Because of his "hands on" knowledge he has subsequently won and delivered three other contracts for the LSC prior to being awarded the Train to Gain contract in the East of England.
After many successful years as TCHC’s Chief Executive, Dale has recently been appointed Chairman of TCHC Group.
Courtney Grinham – Managing Director
Courtney has recently taken over the role of Managing Director where she is responsible for the strategic direction of the business.
Courtney joined TCHC in 2010. She started in Gateway working on Apprenticeships through Employer Engagement and progressed to Recruitment Manager overseeing TCHC’s job outcomes for learners on funded programmes. Courtney has experience as a Personal Adviser and Workforce Development Adviser.
In the last eight years she has held a number of senior positions including being a Project and Programme Manager working on DWP and ESF Contracts.
As a successful Project and Programme Manager she has led on several of our most successful programmes including Thurrock OnTrack working with Thurrock Council on this ESF and YEI funded programme.
Courtney has experience overseeing projects for specific target groups and vulnerable learners including, 50+ Skills Support, Mental Health & Wellbeing Support, Long Term Unemployed, Care Leavers, Lone Parent and Carers Employability Support.
Courtney has helped develop TCHC Employability Programmes with the DWP in Essex, East Anglia, London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and the Midlands.
In 2017 she became a TCHC Company Director. Courtney believes that everyone should have the chance to achieve their career goals, no matter what difficulties they face and she is dedicated to helping them achieve this
Barbara Morgan – Director
Barbara has wide experience in sales & marketing, setting up and running her own promotion & marketing company which she developed and sold in the early 90’s.
She has a keen interest in Psychotherapy and is trained and qualified in that field. Barbara has a wealth of knowledge and experience in counselling and development having trained for 5 years at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy (CCPE) in London.
She started her working life as a dancer on cruise ships and has more recently worked for the NHS as a Psychotherapist at Watford General Hospital. She was also a Governor of a local school in Watford.
Dominic Wade – Operations Director
Dominic was appointed to the role of Operations Director in 2018.
Before that headed up the operation of Gateway, the Central Support Services for the TCHC Group. Gateway provides Inbound and outbound communication for all TCHC Group programmes. Dominic’s team support recruitment of learners onto provision, management of adviser diaries, employer engagement, and progression of learners into work experience and employment. Gateway also supports Apprenticeships and Traineeships.
Dominic joined TCHC in 2006 and helped build the Gateway team and was awarded Hertfordshire Graduate of the Year for his efforts.
Dominic is a successful Project and Programme Manager, managing contracts and advisers. Dominic has supported TCHC to meet delivery targets for contracts supporting employers with training, and individuals move from redundancy or unemployment into employment. Dominic has wide experience of delivering presentations to employers, offering advice and guidance to staff helping them find employment, and delivering training to staff going through redeployment or redundancy. Dominic has also capacity built voluntary and community groups through the management of ESF Community Grants
Mark Williams - Curriculum and Quality Director
Mark began his career in education as a FE College lecturer moving quickly into management and developing new provision throughout Merseyside working to support a wide range of learners from hard to reach NEETs to HE students embarking on foundation degrees.
He took up a brand new Senior Management role at TCHC as Head of Gateway and Facilities back in 2006 designing, implementing and developing TCHC’s inbound/outbound activities to support a variety of programmes such as; Train to Gain, Business Interchange, Leadership & Management, Skills for Jobs, Response to Redundancy and Integrated Brokerage. It was during this time that Mark also got involved in business development and played an important role in supporting the bid writing team as well as taking part in implementing new contracts.
