Supply Chain Warehousing Operative Level 2

Warehouse Operatives work in a variety of warehouse environments. The Supply Chain Warehousing Operative Apprenticeship develops essential skills in a wide range of activities vital to the role.

This includes taking deliveries, checking for damaged/missing items, storing goods, moving stock by various methods, picking/packing orders, loading goods for dispatch, cleaning and maintaining stock records and documentation.

The Supply Chain Warehousing Operative Apprenticeship gives the knowledge and skills to use a range of equipment, machinery and vehicles safely, as relevant to the role and setting.

Warehouse Operatives communicate with a wide range of people and customers and have to be able to work under pressure and to deadline.

This qualification is ideal for those wanting to get into or progress within the warehousing sector.

  • Successful completion of the Apprenticeship will award a NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage.
  • You will also need to attain Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English if you do not already have an equivalent qualification.
  • Length of programme is a minimum of 12 months

Warehouse and Storage Level 3

This qualification is ideal for individuals working in warehousing and storage who would like to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to operate within a supervisory role.

The Level 3 Apprenticeship in Warehousing and Storage qualification combines competency and knowledge components, so that those completing the qualification will have developed the required attributes to be a supervisor or team leader and support career goals.

  • Successful completion of the Apprenticeship will award a Level 3 Diploma in Warehousing and Storage.
  • You will also need to attain Functional Skills Level 2 Maths, English and ICT if you do not already have an equivalent qualification.
  • Length of programme is a minimum of 12 months
