Who we are and how we help
We have seven partners in total under the Opportunity Suffolk programme all of which play a significant role in the effectiveness of the programme and the level of quality given to you.
A charity that supports those with physical disabilities, learning difficulties and learning disabilities, mental health and other health issues to achieve their potential and live the lives they desire. They offer support to job seekers and current employees through 1-2-1 and where necessary, group sessions. The Digital Inclusion support also allows you to learn more about IT either individually or at one of their Discover IT centres.
Specialises in providing training in maths and English in addition to personal development skills, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy and counseling.
Green Light Trust
Green Light Trust is keen to help people of all ages and circumstances to gain an improved sense of health and well-being through the introduction of our Health and Well-being programmes.
They support those with learning difficulties and learning disabilities thourgh counselling and offer advice on debt, housing and benefits..
The benefits of being in the natural environment and the powerful effect it can have on an indidvidual's sense of well-being is well documented. Embedded in all of our educational programmes we work to give as many people as possible the opportunity to benefit from an outdoor learning experience, discovering new skills along the way, increasing their knowledge of the natural world and experiencing the joys and benefits that working within nature can bring.
Support includes: confidence and self-esteem building, social development while learning about conservation and woodland management
Committed to making a difference to families, this organization provides advice and guidance to parents and carers in order to build confidence and employability skills.
Anglia Care Trust
This trust supports communities by offering bespoke support to families and individuals through advice, mentoring and guidance to allow you to realise and reach your full potential.
Support includes debt management, substance misuse, domestic violence, ex-offenders, homelessness and housing.
Working with you to create tailored individual learning plans through both 1-2-1 and group training sessions we'll help you to develop your job search and interview skills, CV writing and more. With links to local employers we'll also look to provide work opportunities for you.
Providing support to enhance your employability for those in the Ipswich region, this organization works with you to create action plans through individual and group sessions which are tailored to your needs by providing work trials, taster sessions, voluntary placements or even paid jobs. They also offer mental health support and offer a range of courses in maths, English and IT.
We provide tailored support to individuals including lone parents. Our courses include employability, Maths, English, IT and self-employment.
