Our Gateway Level 1 Diploma in Creative Media Production & Technology is a dynamic, hands-on course designed to unlock your creativity and build real-world digital media skills. Video production: filming, sound, and lighting
Audio recording and mixing
Graphic design and digital imaging
Planning, creating and evaluating media projects
How to use creative software and media tools
Working to briefs and deadlines
Portfolio and presentation development
You will also complete English & Maths – Functional Skills

- You must be aged between 16 – 18 years, or aged between 19 – 24 years and have a current Educational, health & care plan (EHCP)
- You must have legally lived in the UK for 3 years and, or a legal right as a resident of the UK at the start of your course.
- For EEA nationals residing in the UK before 31st December 2020, you must have applied or have settlement status under the EU settlement Scheme.
- For EEA nationals arriving after 31st December 2020, you must have leave to remain with permission to work.
- Progress on to an apprenticeship
- Increase your chances of gaining employment
You can apply for a bursary to help towards attending the course. If eligible this can help in paying for travel by public transport, or support with petrol expenses, and lunch. The full amount is based on individual need and circumstance, which will be assessed at the start of the course. Speak to a member of staff to find out how a bursary could work for you.
