Wayne Taylor
Director of Youth Programmes
…through my role as the Director of Youth Programmes. I have worked in further education for 27 years from tutoring, coordinator and curriculum leadership always looking to see how education can be innovative towards making new opportunities to enable young people to progress towards better outcomes.
Our centre and teams provide environments and programmes through a tailored approach ensuring the needs of learners are met. We pride ourselves on delivering our programmes within small to medium sized settings to ensure all learners feel valued and are able to participate in their learning at an appropriate pace while receiving support.
When attending our centres I regularly see why I love my job and difference we make as an organisation to many young people’s lives.

Jo Stone
Head of Contract Compliance & Restart Programme
…bookings administrator on our skills support for the unemployed and redundancy contracts. After a busy few years I left for personal reasons, I returned in 2017 and have not looked back. Since my return I have worked on a whole plethora of different contracts (too many to mention) which has given me the additional skills to work my way up to Head of Contract Compliance and more recently Head of the Restart Programme in Aylesbury Vale. I really enjoy the variety of my role as no two days are the same at TCHC.

HR Manager
Before joining the company in September 2017, I had extensive managerial experience in Retail, but in August 2017 I was made redundant by a large and well-known company. At the time TCHC was helping people who were affected by redundancy and helping them get back to work, I was lucky enough to make contact with the company and be employed as an administrator at the Head Office in Watford. This was a new start to a new career in Human Resources.
The past 6 years and a half have been incredibly rewarding professionally and personally.
As an HR Manager, I am responsible for aligning strategies to meet TCHC’s mission. I am the go-to person for all employee-related issues, managing activities such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and talent management.
Promoting corporate values and shaping a positive culture is a vital aspect of my role. People are our most important asset and I work to ensure we have a happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize our established mission and objectives.

Kim Kitchener
Head of Quality
As Head of Quality, I am responsible for ensuring that we meet our company mission of ‘striving for excellence’ in everything we do.
Through our Intent, Implementation, and Impact strategy we look to ensure that the learner receives the quality of teaching and learning needed to not only meet the high standards of TCHC but also that of the awarding bodies and Ofsted.
My role is very varied as I am also the Data Protection Lead and Environmental Manager, so there is never a dull moment.

Finance Controller
My background is in financial services and recruitment. When I met the Chairman Dale Morgan he told me about the fantastic work of TCHC, the GAPS programme helping young people gain qualifications and personal growth and the Restart programme helping our clients get back into work. It is a joy working here as all the staff share a common goal of investing in the people that they work with.

Safeguarding Manager
I have been working in Safeguarding within Further Education since 2016, and to say I love my job is an understatement. I have always been fascinated by human behaviour and the power of the human mind, which lead me to read Clinical Psychology at University. As Designated Safeguarding Lead, my role is to promote the safety and welfare of everyone within TCHC. Anyone could need safeguarding at anytime in their lives.
