Sports Coaching
This course is designed for learners who have an interest in Sports Coaching. It will give learners the introductory skills to either start a career in sport or progress within employment in the sector. This qualification can also prepare learners for higher or further education and gives a good introduction to the sport vocation.

Eligibility
- You must be aged between 16 – 18 years, or aged between 19 – 24 years and have a current Educational, health & care plan (EHCP)
- You must have legally lived in the UK for 3 years and, or a legal right as a resident of the UK at the start of your course.
- For EEA nationals residing in the UK before 31st December 2020, you must have applied or have settlement status under the EU settlement Scheme.
- For EEA nationals arriving after 31st December 2020, you must have leave to remain with permission to work.

Financial Support
You can apply for a bursary to help towards attending the course. If eligible this can help in paying for travel by public transport, or support with petrol expenses, and lunch. The full amount is based on individual need and circumstance, which will be assessed at the start of the course. Speak to a member of staff to find out how a bursary could work for you.
