TCHC’S 20TH BIRTHDAY!
We celebrated our 20th birthday in August. Dale Morgan, TCHC’s Chairman, established TCHC in 2004. Since then, we have continued to develop and deliver programmes to support individuals to learn, achieve and progress to greater opportunities. Most of all we believe in working together as a team to create opportunities for the individuals we work with to grow and achieve their aspirations and attain a positive outcome.

We’re opening 3 new CENTRES!
We are excited to announce that we have opened NEW CENTRES in Peterborough and Watford and three pop-up centres in Kent!
In September we opened Peterborough GAPS Construction Centre in Fengate, Peterborough. This centre will be offering young people the chance to gain Construction Skills qualifications to help progress into a career in the Construction industry.
We also opened a Watford GAPS Centre in Watford, Hertfordshire (located next to Head Office), which will offer young people qualifications in Business & Retail, Life Skills and Functional Skills English and maths.
Alongside these two new centres, we have opened three pop-up centres in Kent (Ashford, Bexley and Northfleet). These centres will be offering Study Programmes in Business & Retail and Sports Coaching!
These centres which opened at the start of the academic year (2024/25) aim to deliver our mission of “inclusively supporting individuals and communities through tailored education programmes by developing skills whilst raising aspirations for future opportunities, independence, employment and growth.”
CHARITY WALK
Our Director Of Youth Programmes and some of the Dunstable team took part in a charity walk down the Grand Union Canal in honour of Samuel’s Charity. Samuel’s Charity was set up to “change and transform the experience of children everywhere, who are in the sort of situation Samuel was in, being treated for a long term or life-limiting or life-ending illness.” The team raised over £2000 to donate to the charity.
CELEBRATION DAYS
Well done & congratulations to all our learners at Basildon and Thurrock for their hard work and achievements. Thank you to all of our staff who have helped the learners throughout the year.
